Lucchese Cowboy Boots

Salvatore Lucchese, the future founder of Lucchese Bootmaker, was born in 1868 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. His father, Gaetano Lucchese, is a shoemaker

In 1882, Salvatore emigrates to the United States of America. He reportedly arrives in Galveston, Texas on a ship from Palermo, Italy. Salvatore Lucchese arrived with his brother Joseph Lucchese.

Salvatore and Joseph Lucchese moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1883 to start a boot making business at Fort Sam Houston, a United States Cavalry School in San Antonio. There they make boots primarily for the cavalry

Over the years, the boot workshop develops into the place to have cowboy boots custom-made. Not much later the first international customers follow.

Soon famous stars from showbiz find their way to Lucchese to have a fitting pair of cowboy boots made. Bing Crosby, Gregory Peck, John Wayne and Johnny Cash are just a few of the celebrities who choose Lucchese Bootmaker for their handmade exclusive cowboy boots.

In 1986, Lucchese announced it would move its operations from San Antonio to El Paso, Texas. The border town in Texas where Lucchese's studio is still located today.

The quality of Lucchese boots, which they make from the finest leathers, is still of the highest level. Timeless classic models to enjoy wearing for years to come.We are proud of the years-long partnership with Lucchese Bootmaker as an official dealer of this extraordinary brand in the Netherlands.
